Embossing Folders are wonderful for adding texture and dimensions to your cards and paper crafts, but they can be used in other ways as well. In this video, I’ll introduce you to a fun (and easy) technique that makes your Embossing Folders the Star of the Show! I hope you’ll give it a try!
In this video, I use the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, but you can use any 3D Embossing Folder you have. Note that while I used Stampin’ Blends to color the de-bossed images, you can use ink pads with Sponge Daubers or ink pads with Blending Brushes.

Dimensions for Fern & Flora EF Technique card above:
- Card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic White embossed & colored layer = 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Card stock layer = 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Sentiment = 4″ x 3/4″
Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping!

I like using the debossed side and I’m happy to see your card with it colored. It’s very pretty!
