About Me

Hi, I’m Mary.

I’m passionate about helping others find joy in creating and sharing easy-to-make “wow” cards & paper crafts.

If you’re anything like me, you treasure a creative escape—time to unwind, recharge, and find a little peace in the process. For me, stamping and crafting have always been that outlet. And I believe they can be for you too.

My goal is to help you experience the same joy and sense of accomplishment I feel every time I sit down to create. The best part? It doesn’t have to be stressful, time-consuming, or expensive. I’m here to guide you—step by step—as you discover beautiful products, fun projects, and easy techniques to make crafting both simple and rewarding.

And if you find yourself falling in love with it all (don’t say I didn’t warn you), I’d be thrilled to share how becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator can open the door to even more creative joy, connection, and opportunity.

The Story Behind Stampin’ Peace

Peace has been my prayer through many seasons of life — in moments of worry, grief, transition, and uncertainty. It’s what I’ve longed for most in hard times. But over time, I discovered that peace often found me at my craft table — with stamps, ink, and paper in hand.

That creative space became more than just a hobby. It became a source of healing, joy, and purpose. That’s how Stampin’ Peace was born — not just as a business name, but as a reflection of what this work means to me and what I hope it brings to others.

This community has supported me through both joyful highlights and personal challenges: the loss of friends I met along the SU! journey, my divorce, the passing of my mother, and major life transitions like moving. And through it all, creating and connecting with others has grounded me.

Stampin’ Peace with Mary Knabe is more than stamping. It’s a place where creativity meets connection. A place to make beautiful things and meaningful friendships. A space where everyone is welcome — no matter where they are in their crafting journey or in life.

If you’re looking for a safe, encouraging space to create and connect, you’ve found it. Welcome to Stampin’ Peace with Mary Knabe.

About my business and my team:

After lots and lots of stamping fun (and lots of Stampin’ Up! purchases), I decided to join Stampin’ Up! in August, 2008. I now have a thriving business built on offering a variety of opportunities to teach and share stamping, card making, paper crafting, and memory keeping in a fun and relaxed atmosphere while providing excellent customer service.

In addition, I lead a team of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Our team is known as the Merry Stampers and includes people from all over the USA. We continue to grow in number and personal achievements. We enjoy gathering virtually and in person for sharing creative projects, stamping techniques, and business tips for those interested. We seek to build each other up and to celebrate our successes, big and small.

I am passionate about what I do and have enjoyed many milestones and achievements in my nearly 17 years as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I have been recognized for my achievements is sales, team building, and leadership in addition to the following:

  • Earned Founder’s Circle
  • Served on Demonstrator Council
  • Earned 14 Incentive Trips
  • Presented at a Stampin’ Up! National Convention
  • Earned achievements in Sales, Team Building, and Leadership

I love being a full-time Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. It has enriched my life in ways I never imagined, and it allows me numerous opportunities to make a positive difference in this world.

The claims published here are not representative of typical Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. The level of sales to achieve these results require significant work and is accomplished by a substantially small percentage of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.

Life outside the Stampin’ Peace Studio

I’m blessed with two wonderful daughters and a son-in-law. Andrea married Jon in 2022, and in 2023, they welcomed their first child, Riley Marie—making me a first-time (and very proud!) grandma. My younger daughter, Emily, enjoys working as a physical therapist. We share a love for cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and all our favorite Ohio sports teams.

Outside of stamping, I enjoy movies and live theatre, game nights, gardening, baking, and raising money for charitable causes through the Creative Escape Weekends I host.

I love incorporating my passion for stamping and paper crafting into my personal life. Over the years, I’ve created handmade cards, gifts, and memory-keeping projects for all kinds of meaningful moments. In 2022, I designed bridal shower invitations and favors, as well as wedding save-the-dates, invitations, and thank-you notes for my daughter’s big day. In 2023, I crafted baby shower invitations, favors, and thank-you cards to help celebrate the arrival of my granddaughter.

Creating and sharing handmade cards is one of my greatest joys. I love sending thoughtful, handmade notes to my family, friends, customers, and team members—because a little card can make a big difference.

My family - the reason I work hard. I love the flexibility in being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. It allows to adjust my schedule for making memories with my family and friends.
I love Grandma Life with my beautiful granddaughter.
