Check this out – Heat Embossing on Patterned Paper

Heat Embossing. Oh, how I love “the magic” of it. Watching something stamped with Versamark come to life as the embossing powder melts.

In today’s post, my message to you is do NOT leave your heat embossing to card stock. Give heat embossing a try on your favorite patterned paper. In this demonstration, I show how easy it is to do with the Thanking You Stamp and pretty papers with small prints like the 2024 – 2026 In Colors Designer Series Paper.

I hope this demonstration makes you see heat embossing in a brand new way AND that you’ll give it a try!

Cutting Dimensions for Thanking You cards above:

  • Basic White Thick card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
  • Designer Series Paper = 5 1/4″ x 4″

These cards are so quick and easy to make. I made this set of 10 cards in 1 hour including the time it took to heat emboss and add embellishments to the finished cards.

If you’re a stickler for sending Thank You notes, the Thanking You Stamp is a MUST!

I hope you enjoyed my demonstration of Heat Embossing on Designer Series Paper and that you’ll be putting this technique to use soon!
