It’s time for a little KISS & SIP... also known as Keep It Simple Stamping with Stamps, Ink, and Paper! I’ve got a fun and easy card making technique for you that definitely gives a “how did you do that” effect. Just follow my step-by-step photos below! You will love this amazing Stamping Technique!

- Bottom right card
- Card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic White layer on front = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Die cut circle = largest circle in Stylish Shapes Dies Collection
- Card stock layer = 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″
Step 1: Create a Stencil
Cut card stock for stencil same size as card stock for stamping. Use a punch or die big enough to accommodate the image or sentiment you plan to use as a focal point. I used the largest circle die in the Stylish Shapes Dies Collection. Die cut the center out to use as your stencil. Set aside die cut circle for your second card.
Step 2: Blend Color using Stencil
Place your stencil on the same size card stock. Holding the 2 pieces together, blend color inside the circle with a Blending Brush swirled in the ink pad. TIP: When blending, start off the card stock and move on to area you’re adding color to.
Step 3: Remove Stencil & Stamp
After blending ink and removing the stencil, stamp your sentiment or image in the circle.
Step 4: Create card with blended & stamped card stock
Step 5: Create 2nd card with Die Cut Circle:
Step 6: Send your handmade cards:
The best part of creating cards is the joy we can bring to others by sending them.
Make someone’s day. Send a handmade card today.
Step 7: Make more!
Continue having fun by making more cards. Below are a few more cards I made with the same stencil I use above. The first card below is the same as the first card made above. I simply swapped out the Old Olive card base with a Basic White card base. The other cards feature Stampin’ Up! colors Blackberry Bliss and Night of Navy. Choose your own favorite colors.
