Check this out paper crafting friends. I made three cards by combining both die cuts and the “leftover” or “negative” card stock to make some awesome cards. This unique twist on using die cuts is both fun and easy to do! I used Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Die Collection, but know there are many, many dies out there in our craft rooms that could be used with this technique as well.
Dimensions for Thoughtful Wishes Die Cut Cards:
- Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Embossed card stock layer = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- White card stock layer = 2 1/8″x 4 1/8″
- Card stock layer = 1 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Card stock for die cutting = 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
*** Note that card stock layers may be adjusted if you are using other dies than the one I used for these cards.
