Today’s post includes a demonstration of 2 simple card layouts that will leave you saying WOW and wanting to use them over and over again in creating cards. My demonstration of these cards features the GORGEOUS and very popular Perennial Lavender Suite. Dimensions for “Here for you always” cards:
Card supplies and dimensions are the same for both cards shown. The only exception is that the 3″ x 3″ DSP square for the second card will be cut into three 3″ x 1″ strips.
- Crumb Cake card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside card = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Crumb Cake layer on front = 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
- DSP 1 = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP 2 = 3″ x 3″ (for card on right, cut 3″ DSP square into three 3″ x 1″ strips)
- DSP 3 for card on left = 4″ x 1/2″
Dimensions for “You’re Simply Marvelous” Cards:
Card supplies and dimensions are the same for both cards shown. The only exception is that the 3″ x 3″ DSP square for the second card will be cut into three 3″ x 1″ strips.
- Gorgeous card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside card = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White layer on front = 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
- DSP 1 = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP 2 = 3″ x 3″ (for card on right, cut 3″ DSP square into three 3″ x 1″ strips)

Your cards are just beautiful with the eye-appealing designs and shades of purples, teals and beige. The die cut leaves and the inked butterflies really give them an extra touch.
