Give Handmade A2 Cards in a coordinating Card Folder

My Card Folder with 6 Perennial Lavender Cards (or any other cards using your favorite DSP) makes a GREAT handmade gift! AND, it’s a gift so quick and easy to make, you’ll want to make and give lots of them. You might even want to make one for yourself too and a few extras to have on hand ready to go when you need a quick gift. Gift your handmade cards in a coordinating card folder for birthdays, graduations, retirement, or simply because someone loves to send cards or needs a pick-me-up. I’m sure you’ll think of even more uses for these quick and easy gifts!

If you watched my previous video, I made a Card Folder to fit Note Cards which are 3 1/2″ x 5″. The Card Folder I make in this video is for A2 size cards which measure 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. So I’ve got you covered no matter which size cards you want to make and give.

Cutting & Scoring Dimensions for A2 Card Folder:

• Card stock base = 8 1/2″ x 11″
  • Score at 5 1/2″ on long side.
  • Score at 2″ on short side

Dimensions for Perennial Lavender A 2 Cards:

• Card bases = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
• Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
• DSP for card front = start with 4″ x 6″
  • With DSP in horizontal position, cut at 5 1/4″
  • Both 5 1/4″ x 4″ and 3 /4″ x 4″ pieces will be used on card
