You know I love a good One Sheet Wonder. The one you’ll see me demonstrate today make 10 cards (8 of on design and 2 of another design) from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. It’s quick. It’s easy. It’s simple. And you will love it!
One Sheet Wonders are often exactly what we need when we need to make a bunch of cards in a hurry or simply want to build up our stash of handmade cards to have on hand and use as needed. Get out your Designer Series Paper and get started cutting to make your 10 cards in a snap!
In addition, this card making demonstration will show you how to stamp and die cut your sentiments by using the Stamparatus, our perfect stamp placement tool.
My 10 Cards in a Snap One Sheet Wonder Demonstration:
Cutting Dimensions for One Sheet Wonder:
- Cut 12″ x 12″ DSP at 5″, then at 5″ again. You should now have two pieces measuring 5″ x 12″ and one piece measuring 2″ x 12″.
- Cut each of the 5″ x 12″ pieces of DSP by cutting at 3″ intervals along with long side. You should now have eight 5″ x 3″ pieces.
- Cut the 2″ x 12″ piece of DSP at 5″ intervals on long side. You should now have two 5″ x 2″ pieces and one leftover 2″ square.
- All pieces of DSP will be used to make 10 cards except the 2″ square.
Cutting Dimensions for other card pieces:
- Card bases (cut 10) = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White for inside & front of cards (cut 20) = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic White card stock for stamping and die cutting sentiment for 10 cards
- Coordinating DSP or card stock for card fronts (cut 10) = 5″ x 1″
