Make a Holiday Pocket Card

I've been making Holiday Pocket Cards and want to show you how! Take a look at my November 30th Facebook Live Video Replay for a complete demonstration. You'll see me make 2 pocket cards start to finish plus see a few others I made. Pocket cards are lots of fun to make and send. They also make great gift card holders just in time for the upcoming holidays. Or switch out the colors and stamp set to make pocket cards for birthdays and other occasions. These are so easy to make, you'll want to make several in one sitting. Watch, be inspired, and stamp on!

I made my pine trees using Triangle Dies in various sizes to die cut various patterns of Shaded Spruce DSP from the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper. It's easy and FUN to mix and match the sizes and patterns of your pine trees to create festive pocket cards to spread Christmas Cheer.

I die cut the 2 layers of white poinsettias from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. The flower centers are from the Holiday Rhinestones which include 5 gorgeous colors of rhinestones. I used the holly leaf dies to cut the Green Foil Paper leaves.

My holly leaves turned out exactly the way I wanted them to – with lots of detail to add more interest. I first stamped the outline of each holly leaf with Shaded Spruce ink onto my Designer Series Paper, then stamped the inside color. I then die cut the holly leaves while also using the embossing dies that embossed the veins of each leaf. It sounds complicated, but it really was not.

3 large pearls colored with Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends marker are the perfect finishing touch adding beauty and elegance to this already pretty pocket card.

Not sure what to get your crafty friends and family members? Why purchase Stampin' Peace Gift Certificates and give them the thrill of choosing their own Stampin' Up! gift. Perhaps, they'll purchase the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine or one of the other many new products coming January 5th. Gift certificates are sold in any amount and are good through 2021, although, I suspect the receivers will be too excited to wait that long to use their gift certificate. Contact me at mknabe2008@gmail.com to purchase gift certificates.
