2 weeks ago, I flew to Atlanta to attend Stampin' Up! on Stage! I met my upline and dear friend Susi Brunk there. We used to be neighbors, but I moved from Cincinnati, OH to Columbus, OH last year, so that is no more. I'm grateful that we remain close friends and was grateful we'd be spending the next week together. How blessed I am that Susi talked me into purchasing a Starter Kit in 2008 and got me started on this Stampin' Up! journey.
When we reached our hotel, we quickly checked in then hustled over to Brian King's Fall Stamp-Along. What a fun-filled and inspiring day it was. I learned new techniques and saw many creative cards and projects. Brian spoiled us with gifts too! I even won a $50 SU! gift certificate!
My favorite part of this event was meeting up with several demonstrator friends and meeting more! What a blessing it was to meet Pam Simmons. Pam has been following me on Social Media for quite a while. What a blessing it was to meet her in person for the first time! I felt like I already knew her, but knowing her in-person is even better. I'm also grateful to have met two more lovely ladies. They sought me out and introduced themselves saying how much they loved the inspirational framed art I made for myself a while back and featured in one of my blog posts a while back. (You can view that project with this link: http://bit.ly/2qu9J8G).
Later that Friday evening, Susi and I attended Centre Stage for Leaders and enjoyed a wonderful dinner, yummy deserts, making new friends, networking, and a few surprises too. Plus we were among the first to get a copy of the 2020 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure-always a highlight of Stampin' Up! events!
The main On Stage Atlanta event the following day was filled with fabulous new product demonstrations, company news, reunions with stamping friends, making new friends, surprises and giveaways, and Prize Patrol. Imagine hundreds of women and the excitement over getting new Stampin' Up! products FREE! Yes, a bit crazy but always fun! Susi and I ended our day with dinner and a late night drink and lots of catching up with our friend, Phyllis Shepherd.
Sunday, I flew to Sarasota, Florida with Susi for a few days of R & R and fun with Susi and her husband Denny. I saw lots of wildlife, including the neighborhood alligator and went to some nearby beaches.
Tuesday morning, sitting on the lanai with Susi, I was reading Stampin' Up! weekly updates and learned I had placed #91 among all demonstrators in the USA, and #148 among the 52,000+ demonstrators worldwide. Wow!
What a great sense of accomplishments, happiness, pride, and gratitude. I am quite humbled too as I know this journey is not my own. There are so many people who are a part of this wonderful journey of mine, and I am grateful to all of them – my friends and family who encourage, support, and cheer me on; fellow demonstrator who share their talents and business tips with me, my customers who support my business with their orders, attendance at classes and special events; my Creative Escape Weekend attendees; all those who follow me on social media, read my newsletters, blog posts, and watch Facebook Lives; and last but not least, my amazing Stampin' Up! team, the Merry Stampers! Thanks to all of you for being with me on my SU! journey.
