I am a giver, by nature. I like to give of myself, my time, and my talents. A couple times a year, I like to give a little something extra to people who get paid to do a job but often are not recognized by the people they serve, for example, my mail carrier and UPS driver (who deliver my Stampin' Up! packages of course). With cold weather setting in and the extra long days they work this time of year, I think these people would enjoy a little cash in their pocket to stop for a hot drink or even a quick meal in between their deliveries. And what better way to deliver that $ than in a hand stamped money card!
Whose on your list for an extra tip this holiday season?
Directions for Money Card:
- Cut Whisper White card stock 8½” x 7”. Score at 2 ½”, 5 ½” on long side and fold on score lines. (The smallest flap is at the bottom and folds up first. Then fold the top flap down which becomes the front of your money card.)
- Cut holly paper from Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper 2 ¼” x 6” and adhere to 2 ¾” x 6 ½” Cherry Cobbler card stock.
- Tie knot of 5/8” Whisper White Satin Ribbon around layered papers at one end. Adhere layered pieces to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp "To & From" from Oh, What Fun stamp set and punch with Note Tag Punch. Add Home for Christmas Enamel Dot to tag.
- Attach tag with Stampin' Dimensionals near knot.
- Stamp "Oh, What Fun" on inside 2” inside flap.
The money card would also be great to use for birthdays and graduations (picture school colors).
