Sneak Peek of Products with a Favorite Technique

It’s been a bit since I’ve shared Stack, Slice, and Shuffle Technique cards, As we know there are many variations of the Stack, Slice, and Shuffle Technique including the one I’m demonstrating today.

If you’re a lover of Designer Series Paper like I am, the Stack, Slice, and Shuffle Technique is for you! It’s so fun mixing and matching colors and patterns of DSP to make awesome cards. AND, today, I’m giving you a sneak peek of some new products launching in July. You are going to love the pretty patterns, gorgeous colors, and floral images of the Violet Dreams Designer Series Paper and coordinating Framed Violets Stamp Set & Dies.

Enjoy today’s card making demonstration of the Stack, Slice, and Shuffle Technique, then grab some patterned papers and give this technique a try!

Dimensions for Violet Dream Stack, Slice, and Shuffle Cards:

  • Card bases (cut 3) = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
  • Basic White inside (cut 3) = 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Card stock layer (cut 3) = 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • DSP (cut 3 coordinating papers) = 3 3/4″ x 5″
    • STACK the 3 DSPs and turn to horizontal/landscape position
    • SLICE/cut at 3 3/4″ from top
      • Turn 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ square back to it’s original position and cut at 1″ from left side.
    • You should now have 3 stacks with DSP measuring 1″ x 3 3/4″, 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, and 3 3/4″ x 1 1/4″
    • SHUFFLE the 3 stacks as shown in the video above.

I’d love to see the cards you make with this version of the Stack, Slice, and Shuffle Technique. You are welcome to share them and inspire others by posting your cards on Facebook in my Stampin’ Peace VIP Group.

Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping.
