I often here people say they don’t know what to do with Split Design Papers like the one shown below. Well, I am here to help with that. In this video, I will show you how to make 8, 10, or 12 cards with your Split Design Papers using 1 or both of 2 simple card designs.

For my demonstration, I am using a Split Design Paper from the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper Pack and sentiments from the Flowering Meadow Stamp Set and 2 simple card layouts to make a set of 10 cards.

Dimensions for Velvet Meadow Card above:
- Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Card stock layer = 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- DSP
- Cut 12″ x 6″ piece of Split Design Paper at 3″ increments.
- Cut each 3″ x 6″ piece to get 3″ x 5 1/2″ and 3″ x 1/2″.

I hope today’s demonstration gave you some inspiration and a bit more confidence in using all your Split Design Papers including those in the Velvet Meadow and Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper packs and more!
Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping.
