In this video, I demonstrate how to create Textured Backgrounds for your cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafts using Dies. The cards in this video feature the Moonlit Flora Suite including the Fern & Flora Dies I used to create the textured background you’ll see me make.
After seeing my demonstration of the Textured Background Technique, I think you’ll find yourself looking at many of your dies in a whole new way. I have no doubt that you’ll find dies in your collection perfect for using with the Textured Background Technique. I’m excited to see which ones you choose to make textured backgrounds for your cards.
Dimensions for Textured Background Cards shown:
- Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Card stock for textured background = 3″ x 4 1/4″
