In this 3rd edition of Make It With Mary, you’ll discover how a few small scraps become the focal point of your handmade card with this quick and easy card layout.
I’ll be demonstrating using products from the Brushed With Beauty Suite. To craft along with me, you can use any supplies you have at home, simply prep your card stock and paper using the dimensions given in the following photo. Then, you’re ready to craft along with me as you watch my video tutorial.
Dimensions for MIWMM #3 Card Layout:
***I used the Brushed With Beauty Suite, however, you can use any supplies you have.
- Card base = 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″ on long side, fold in half.
- Very Vanilla inside = 4″ x 1/4″
- Very Vanilla layer = 4 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
- Early Espresso layer = 4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
- DSP (cut 3 = 1 1/4″ x 2″
This quick and easy card layout used in my Make It With Mary Monday #3 demonstration is great for using with your “scenery papers” like the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper used on the card below.
The card below is a great example of how versatile the Make It With Mary Monday #3 card layout is as I’ve replaced the 3 Designer Series Paper pieces with card stock pieces stamped with images from the Silly Safari Stamp Set.
