I was so excited to discover an easy card layout from Kerry McDonogh that I couldn’t wait to use AND share with all of you. The layout is quick and easy, can be used in both vertical and horizontal cards, and is great for highlighting you favorite designer series papers! So watch the demonstration, then grab some papers, and put this easy card layout to use.
In my demonstration, I showcase the Weekend Adventures Designer Series Paper and With You In Mind Stamp Set for a set of masculine cards or ones to send to nature lovers!
Dimensions for Weekend Adventures Card 1:
- Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Very Vanilla inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP = 2 1/2″ x 5″, turn to horizontal position and cut at 1 1/4″ increments.
- Modern Oval Punch
- 2 3/8″ Circle Punch
Dimensions for Weekend Adventures Card 2;
- Card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Very Vanilla inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- DSP = 5″ x 2 1/2″, with DSP in horizontal position, cut at 1 1/4″ increments.
- Sentiment = 3 1/4″ x 1 3/4″
- Sentiment layer = 3 1/2″ x 2″
