Coloring on Designer Series Papers can be loads of fun and gives a custom look to your favorite papers. The black and white papers from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper pack were colored to create the beautiful cards below. I used a Blending Brush and Poppy Parade Ink Pad to add color to the black & white paper for the card on the left below. The black & white paper on the card on the right was colored with Stampin’ Blends in Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, Poppy Parade,

I used the same coloring techniques combined with the SPOTLIGHT TECHNIQUE to create the two cards below. Watch my video demonstration below so you can do it too. It’s easy and fun and gives dynamic results!

Dimensions for Mixed Media Florals cards:
- Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP layer = 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Card stock layer = 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
So does this post have you looking at your black and white Designer Series Paper a bit differently. Whether you choose to simply customize your black and white papers with your favorite Stampin’ Up! colors or combine the coloring techniques with the Spotlight Technique for even more interest and variety, I have no doubt your cards will be amazing. I can’t wait to see what you make!
And be sure to make someone’s day by sending your handmade card!
Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping.
