In today’s post, I’m sharing cards from the August Bits & Pieces Creative Showcase I hosted for my Merry Stampers Team. Each team member who signs up receives an envelope with paper crafting “bits & pieces” – an assortment of card stock pieces, DSP, ribbon or trim, embellishments, etc. Each month is different. Each person creates a handmade card or project with at least some of each of the products they are sent in their Bits & Pieces kit and any other current Stampin’ Up! products of their choosing. Then we each post a photo of both the “Bits & Pieces” we received and our finished card or project. There is no competition, no prize, just the joy of sharing and inspiring each other to create.
This month I sent everyone a 4″ x 6″ and 1 1/2″ x 6″ pieces of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper, a scrap piece of Early Espresso card stock, and a few Antique Flat Pearls. It’s exciting to see the many different Autumn cards created.
Below are photos of my Bits & Pieces kit and the card I created. I used my Bits & Pieces to create this simple but gorgeous card to celebrate fall. The stamped sentiment and leaf are from the Artistic Leaves Stamp Set. If you love autumn, you will LOVE this stamp set..

Dimensions for my Autumn Toile Card:
- Card base = 4 1/4″ x 10″, score at 5 1/2″, fold in half.
- Very Vanilla inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Very Vanilla Scrap for sentiment
- Card stock triangles = Cut a 2 3/4″ square in half diagonally from top right corner to bottom left corner
- DSP 1 = 3 1`/2″ x 4 3/4″
- DSP 2 = 3 1/2″ x 1 1/4″
