How to use “Framed Design” Papers

Stuck on how to use your “Framed Design” papers”? You know, the ones that have designs on all 4 sides but are blank in the center of the paper. At first glance, you may think, “Framed Design” papers are great for scrapbook pages or a home decor piece. Others may look at these same “Framed Design” papers and question how they can be used in their card making. Card makers, I’ve got the answer for you. Watch this video for making quick and easy cards with your “Framed Design” paper.

I have found that the With You In Mind Stamp Set works well with these “Framed Design” cards as well as the Just A Note Stamp from the Notes & Totes Stamp Set as you can see on the sets of cards below.

Dimensions for easy “Framed Design” cards above:

  • Card bases = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
  • Basic White inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • DSP = Cut 12″ x 12″ DSP across the center as shown in video.
    • Cut both 6″ x 12″ strips into 4″ x 6″ pieces, cut 3/4″ off “white” end of each as shown in video.

Here’s another set of quick and easy “Framed Design” cards using the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper to help inspire you to create quick and easy cards with your own “Framed Design” papers.

I can’t wait to see the wonderful cards you create with your own “Framed Design” papers.

Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping.
