Creativity & Community Matter to Me

Over the years, I’ve poured lots of time and effort, and so much heart into creating projects, classes, and events that teach and inspire others on their creative journey. My monthly One Sheet Wonder series has grown to be a large part of my Stampin’ Peace business, and I’m so grateful to my customers and followers for that. This monthly One Sheet Wonder series has become something many of you look forward to—offering fresh ideas, inspiration, and easy-to-follow designs that are both fun and functional.

Recently, I noticed a nearly identical version of my July One Sheet Wonder template and Painterly Pears cards being shared and used in another person’s business. While I’m always honored to inspire others, it was a tough moment to see my original work shared so closely without any mention of or credit to me. In fact, credit was given to yet another demonstrator. I have to admit, this hurts.

I believe in sharing generously, after all, that’s how we learn and grow. But I also believe in giving credit when and where it is due. That is a matter of respect and integrity. I do my best to live and work with these beliefs in mind and hope it shows.

I want YOU to know this: I remain committed to bringing YOU original, thoughtfully designed projects, tutorials, and classes including my monthly One Sheet Wonder series—created with care and integrity. If you’ve ever supported, shared, or purchased my work, thank you. It means more than you know.

I’ll keep creating. I’ll keep sharing. And I’ll keep leading with the heart and values that built this Stampin’ Peace community.

Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping.

  1. ….and I will keep following you. I am a demo, but without any web presence. I will NOT copy your content, but I may, with your permission, use your technique with a totally different stampset or….whatever. I hope this is OK.

    • Maggi, this is more than ok. I have no problem with people using my ideas, in fact I typically feel honored by that. But, it does hurt to see other’s use my content (or someone else’s) and pass it off as their own. Thank you for your understanding.. I’ll keep on creating and inspiring, and I hope you will continue to use my ideas and those of others as you have been. Happy crafting,

  2. I’m so sorry this happened to you! I saw a video tonight and thought I recognized those cards! How unfortunate that someone else is using your original work to benefit her business. I can only imagine how frustrating that is for you! Sending hugs and appreciation for your talent!
