Wishing you love & happiness!

I recently attended my niece’s bridal shower. It was such a fun afternoon celebrating the bride-to-be. There was a “Flower Bar” where each guest could make her own bouquet. It was so fun! Here are a few pictures from that special day. The 1st picture is of Riley (always be sure to scrunch your nose when smelling flowers – hahahaha). The second picture is my family. From left to right is my niece Avery, my sister Joan, my niece Alison holding Riley, my daughter Andrea (Riley’s mommy), myself, and my daughter Emily (Riley’s Emmy). The third picture is the bride-to-be with her flower girl! It’s so very special that Riley was asked to be in Alison and Ryan’s wedding.

In today’s video, I show you how to make the card I gave to Alison with her bridal shower gift. I used a mix of old and new products and just love the way it turned out. In addition, I demonstrate a second similar card using the die cut left over from my window card. I think you will really enjoy making these! Each is perfect for bridal showers and weddings.

Dimensions for 1st Lifetime Of Love card:

  • Outer card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half
  • Inner card base = 5 1/4″ x 8 1/4″, score at 4 1/8″ on long side, fold in half.

Dimensions for 2nd Lifetime Of Love card:

  • Card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
  • Card stock layer on front = 5 1/4″ x 4″.
  • Die cut is left over from 1st card.

Here’s a related project. The bride-to-be was celebrated last month with a Bachelorette weekend also. Avery asked me to make place cards for a special Hibachi dinner they were having. Here’s some photos of what I created. And of course, I had to deliver them in a pretty box! (The die cuts I used on these place cards is from a 2025 Sale-A-Bration Bundle, so unfortunately not available now.)

I hope this post provided you with some inspiration for making bridal shower, wedding, and anniversary cards. AND that you will, perhaps, make a “window” card and companion card by die cutting a shape from your card front and using the die cut piece for a 2nd card. They’re easy and fun to make and send!

Wishing you peace, joy, and happy stamping.
