Paper Piecing. Do you know this Technique? It’s one of my favorite Stamping Techniques, but I’ve only know it to be done using Paper Snips, aka tiny scissors. But guess what? Stampin’ Up! has made Paper Piecing EASY for us with its Umbrella Days Stamp Set & Dies. As you’ll see in this video, Umbrella Days Dies contain a few dies that do the cutting for your paper piecing cards. Awesome, right? The umbrella, rain boots, and dog sweater all have dies. So stamp those images and die cut them for your Paper Piecing cards. Paper Piecing the rain jackets is done the traditional way using Paper Snips. Paper Piece all those images, a few, or even just one to make your handmade Umbrella Days cards extra special.
My cards feature the 2024-2026 In Colors, but you can use any colors or Designer Series Papers to make your own Paper Piecing cards.
Enjoy this video then give the Paper Piecing Technique a try whether use have dies for those pieces or use Paper Snips. Either way, your Paper Piecing cards will be impressive!
