Need some cards for kids? I originally purchased the Zoo Crew Suite because I needed a birthday card for a 1 year old boy and realized by stamp & paper collection doesn’t have much for making cards for kids. Here are some quick and easy fun fold cards I made featuring the the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper and Zany Zoo Stamp Set & coordinating Dies. I love their playful look with punches of color against the black and white patterns.
To make it as easy as possible for you to make some of your own Flip Top Fun Fold Cards, I’m providing you with the FREE PDF Project Sheet that includes a cutting template and coordinating card sketch.. So grab some stamps, ink, and paper and get started making a few Flip Top Fun Fold Cards of your own. I can’t wait to see what you come up whether it be fun kid cards like mine or cards with any other theme or occasion.
One zoo animal is just as cute as the next. Finish off your cards with the ones you love best or make enough cards to use them all. I chose my card stock colors directly from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper.
ALTERNATE CARD IDEAS: Instead of punching circles from the Zoo Crew DSP, some of the animals can be die cut from the DSP using the coordinating Zany Zoo Dies or stamp and die cut using the Zany Zoo Stamp Set & Dies. And if you choose to stamp and color the animals, you open up a whole new possibility of color combinations to use! Perhaps, use some of our colors from the Brights Collection.
I’m excited to have built up my stash of fun cards for kids using the Zoo Crew Suite. Notice that my samples do not have sentiments on them. That is intentional. I’ll add sentiments as needed whether it be for a baby shower, first birthday, kids birthday, a get well for a child, or perhaps even as thank you notes for teachers.
