Faux Tile Technique 2 ways!

In this video, I demonstrate how to do the FAUX TILE TECHNIQUE using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool (aka Score Board) to easily make some “wow” cards. I’ll show you 2 versions of the Faux Tile Technique. One uses horizontal and vertical lines. The other uses diagonal lines. I love both and think you will too. If you’ve never done the Faux Tile Technique, I suggest you start with the horizontal and vertical line version first, then move to the diagonal lines version. Remember, you can change the space between score lines for additional versions.

  • Basic White (cut 2) = 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • scraps of 1 1/2″ Basic White circle and 1 3/4″ Silver Glimmer paper

Cutting Dimensions for Happy Birthday card:

  • Card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
  • Basic White = 5 1/4″ x 4″ for inside card

So what do you think? Are you going to give the Faux Tile Technique a try? I sure hope so and would love to see what you create with this technique. It’s such a versatile technique as it works with many different stamp sets.
