Cards, cards, and more cards. In today’s post, you’ll see 4 more cards created with this week’s featured product, the Trucking Along Stamp Set. These 4 Slimline Cards use all the same colors, supplies, and card layout but are all each slightly different after making a few simple changes. And whether or not you have the Trucking Along Bundle with its stamp set and punch or just the Trucking Along Stamp Set until the punch becomes available again mid-October, I’ve got you covered in this series of cards! So enjoy the video now, then get ready to stamp and create these awesome Trucking Along Slimline Cards yourself.
For the Trucking Along Slimline Cards above, I stamped directly onto the Crumb Cake Deckled Rectangles. Notice that the card on the left was stamped with full strength ink while the card on the right was “stamped off” before stamping on the Crumb Cake Deckled Rectangles to create a light shade of the same 5 colors.
This second set of Trucking Along Slimline Cards, is the same as the set above with one exception. I stamped all the trucks on Basic White card stock, punched with the Trucking Along Builder Punch, and adhered to Crumb Cake Deckled Rectangles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Dimensions for Trucking Along cards above:
- Card base = 7″ x 8 1/2″, score at 3 1/2″ on short side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″
- Basic Black layer = 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″
- DSP layer = 3″ x 8″
- Crumb Cake rectangles = die cut 5 with 2nd smallest Deckled Rectangle Die.
- Scraps of black and white
The photos above show how I used 8 point star shape from the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack for the sentiment on each of my Slimline Cards. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink, punched it out, then snipped off the points/triangles on the top, bottom, left, and right. I then layered the remaining stamped square on an 8 pointed star punched one from Basic Black.
Thanks for spending part of your day here at StampinPeace.com. I appreciate and wish you a day of abundant joy and peace and some stamping fun too.
