Thanks to my friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Julie Heitz, I made my first Quilt Card. It was so much fun and SO MUCH EASIER than I expected it would be. So in this video replay of a recent FB Live, I’m going to show you how to make one too. You are going to LOVE IT.
Note that the Quilt Card I make in this demonstration uses brand new products – A Walk In The Forest Designer Series Paper, Merriest Trees Stamp Set, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, and Balmy Blue Sparkle Ribbon. These 4 products are available for purchase beginning September 6th when the Stampin’ Up! September – December Mini Catalog launches.
Dimensions for Star Quilt Block:
- Basic White card stock = 3″ x 3″
- Card stock in 3 colors (light, medium, dark shades) = 1 1/16″ x 1 1/16″
- Card stock in 2 colors (light and dark shades) cut 2 of each color = 3/4″ x 3/4″
Dimensions for Quilt Card:
- Card base = 4 1/4″ x 8 1/4″, score at 5 1/2″ on long side. Fold so small flap is on front left.
- Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- DSP = 4″ x 6″, With DSP in horizontal position, cut at 2 1/2″, then 1″, then 2 1/2″.
- Color card stock layer = 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- Basic White layer = 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
