Oh, I love a good stamping technique, whether it’s new to me or one that’s been brought back from the archives. The Spotlight Technique is one I’ve pulled from my archives for this video, In it you’ll see me demonstrate a couple of different ways you can use the Spotlight Technique with the Berry Harvest Stamp Set. This technique is so fun and easy to do. It works well with nearly all our stamp sets and certainly lends itself to many variations. The possibilities of using the Spotlight Technique in your card making and paper crafting is limitless.
Dimensions for Berry Harvest Hello Card:
- Berry Burst card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic White for stamping & coloring = 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Basic Black layer = 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Use 2″ and 2 1/4″ Circle Punches
Dimensions for Berry Harvest Congratulations Card:
- Berry Burst card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic White for stamping & coloring = 5″ x 3 3/4″. With card stock in vertical position, cut at 1″ from left side. Then cut at 1 1/4″. Cut off 1/8″ from right side of third piece. Color 1 1/4″ strip to spotlight it.
- Basic Black layer = 5 1/8″ x3 7/8″
