Make Your Own DSP with Tropical Leaf Stamp Set

As a paper crafter, I know you must love pretty paper like I do. I’m always so impressed with the Designer Series Paper designed by Stampin’ Up! They make making cards, scrapbook pages, and home decor projects easy and fun. It’s also fun to create your own pretty papers. In this video, I demonstrate how to make your own custom Designer Series Paper with the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Leaf Stamp Set. It’s easy and fun. I’ll also show you how to cut your 8 1/2″ x 11″ custom DSP to make a set of 5 cards. So watch and be ready to be inspired. Then give this stamping technique a try.

Cutting Dimensions for Tropical Leaf cards above:

Cut 5 of each:

• Garden Green card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
• Basic White inside = 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Basic White layer = 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
• Basic White for sentiment = 1″ x 3″
• Pebbled Path layer = 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″
• Pebbled Path layer behind sentiment = 3/4″ x 3 1/2″e

To cut 8 1/2″ x 11″ DSP to make 5 Tropical Leaf cards:

• With stamped card stock in vertical position cut at 4 3/4″
• Turn the 4 3/4″ x 11″ piece to horizontal position, cut at 3 1/2 increments to get 3 pieces each measuring 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″.
• With the 3 3/4 x 11″ piece of stamped card stock in vertical position, cut at 3 1/2″.
• Turn the 3 1/2″ x 11 piece to horizontal position, cut at 4 3/4″ increments to get 2 more pieces measuring 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
