I love creating Black & White Cards with “pops of color”. My “pops of color” are often done with small bits of card stock or ribbon or an embellishment. In this card making demonstration, you’ll see me use a layer of colorful Designer Series Paper for my “pops of color” on otherwise Black & White Cards. Once you’ve watched my video demonstration, grab some of your favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers and stamp set to make a few of your own black & white cards with “pops of color”
My Demonstration:
Cutting Dimensions for In The Moment Cards Shown:
- Card base = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside card = 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic White for stamping = 3 1/4″ x 3″

Now that you’ve viewed this blog post and made a plan to make a Black & White card using DSP as your “pop of color”, take a look around your world. Take in all the beautiful colors of the of nature, fabrics, books, your favorite things and just be IN THE MOMENT.
Tell me, do any of you see the world in Stampin’ Up! colors as I sometimes do? For example, today I’m wearing one of my favorite Life Is Good tees that looks like Fresh Freesia!
No matter how you spend your day, make it great!
