Well, if your life is anything like mine, life is settling down and I’m getting back to my routines after the holiday hoopla. I really enjoyed all the fun and festivities with my family. I need a bunch of holiday thank you cards and wanted them to look festive but was also eager to use some of my new products. I love the cards I came up with using the new Petal Park Bundle with its coordinating stamp set and punch and a festive color combination of Shaded Spruce and Sweet Sorbet. I love the versatility of this bundle as it works for so many occasions and reasons for sending cards. I also love that it is designed for 2-Step Stamping.
Stamping the outline images at full strength, then stamping off (going from ink pad to scrap paper to card stock) for the second layer gives you 2 different shades of the same color and really shows the details well as in the card on the left in the photo above. Stamping both layers with ink at full strength (going from ink pad to card stock) gives you bolder color but more subtle details as in the card on the right in the photo above. Give both methods a try and see which one you like best.
