Splendid Thoughts Fun Fold Cards

Card swaps are a great way to be inspired and get new project ideas and card layouts. In my August 19th Facebook Live, I demonstrated a Fun Fold Card I learned from a swap card created by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and friend, Renee Kohnke. I love it and think you will too. This fun fold is similar to a Side-Step Card but much easier. Enjoy this Facebook Live Replay, then plan to make a few of this new-to-me Fun Fold Card. Perhaps, it's new to you too. My cards feature the Splendid Day Suite with its gorgeous Specialty Designer Series Paper and stamp set & dies.

Cutting & Scoring Dimensions:

• Large Z-Fold card base = 5 1/2" x 8" (not 8 1/2"), scored at 1", 2", 5" on long side
• Card front panel = 3" x 6", scored at 4 1/4" on long side
• Basic White inside card = 5 1/4" x 2 3/4"
• DSP 1 = 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" and 5 1/4" x 3/4"
• DSP 2 = 4" x 2 3/4"

The following card is very similar to the one above, however, I used the reverse side of each piece of the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper, decorated the card front differently and without a sentiment, and have the front panel left of center.
