In my last post, you saw me demonstrate using 2 of the 3 dies in the Artisan Additions Dies collection. Now, I'll show you 3 very different cards made with the 3rd die in that set. I also feature products from the Awash In Beauty Suite and Go To Greetings Stamp Set. This one is a bit longer than most of my videos, but it's packed full of stampin' goodness.
I recently demonstrated the Off-Center Z-Fold card with the Hey Sports Fan Suite. Here it is again with the Artisan Additions Dies and Awash in Beauty Suite. This may just be my favorite new fun fold.
The Off-Center Z-Fold card is great for showing off your favorite Designer Series Papers.
Cutting Dimensions for Off-Center Z-Fold Cards:
- Card base = 5 1/2" x 11", cut off 1/4" to make base 5 1/2" x 10 3/4", (do not discard 1/4 strip as it is used on this card).
- Score card base at 3 1/2" and 6 3/4" on long side.
- DSP on front/left panel = 3 1/4" x 5 1/4"
- DSP on middle panel = 3" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White card stock on right panel = 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" (1/4" strip cut from card base will be used on this piece)
The same Artisan Additions Die used in the card above is used in completely different ways in the next 2 cards.
I hope you watched the video to see how I punched the ends of the Happy Birthday banner using the new Decorative Circle Punch. Make your punches more versatile by finding new ways to use them as I did on this card.
Cutting Dimensions for Happy Birthday Card above:
- Card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White (cut 2, 1 for front, 1 for inside) = 5 1/4" x 4"
- DSP = 5" x 3 3/4"
- Basic White for label = 1 1/4" x 4"
Sometimes you need a bright and cheery card "just because". I have no doubt this Polished Pink card will bring a smile to whoever receives it.
A Polished Pink bow and some Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels are the perfect embellishments to finish off this card.
Cutting Dimensions for Just Because Card above:
- Card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White (cut 2, 1 for front, 1 for inside) = 5 1/4" x 4"
- DSP = 5" x 3 3/4"
- Polished Pink layer = 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
- Basic White for label = 1/2" x 3"
