The theme of this months' ICS Blog Hop is Fun with Designer Series Paper. Right up my alley! I LOVE creating with DSP and usually grab it first when I sit down to start creating something new. I especially love that each pack of DSP gives me color combinations to use. This takes so much of the guess work out of creating. Of course, each pack of DSP has gorgeous images and patterns to go with their own unique theme. For my post for this month's Fun with Designer Series Paper blog hop, I've chosen to use the Tidings of Christmas DSP from our current Annual Catalog (pages 88-89, 133).
There are so many beautiful prints in the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I love the color palette as well which includes Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Sahara Sand, Soft Succulent, and Basic White.
The Holly & Berries Dies are such a great addition to the Christmas Trimmings Dies. You could even use our Red Rhinestones in place of the Cherry Cobbler die cut berries.
Cutting Dimensions:
- Card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on LONG side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside card = 5 1/4" x 4"
- Evening Evergreen = 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
- DSP = 5" x 3 3/4"
- DSP rectangles were die cut with Rectangular Stitched Dies. Each measures 1 3/4" x 3 1/4".
- DSP for die cutting Tasteful Label Die = 3 3/4" x 2"
- scraps of Cherry Cobbler & Evening Evergreen to die cut holly leaves & berries
