One of the many things I like to do in the summer months is visit local farm markets to get the freshest veggies and fruits I can. This year, I decided to take advantage of The Peach Truck when it comes to my community later this month. I'm so excited. I've invited my daughter Andrea to come over for the day to make "peach recipes" with me. So far I want to make a peach pie, peach salsa, and peach sangria. I'll probably put some in the freezer for smoothies too. Stampin' Up!'s You're a Peach Suite is perfect for summer crafting! Perhaps, I'll use it to make some cute gift tags to share my peach treats with others later this month.
For now, I love making cards and other paper crafts with this colorful suite of coordinating products. In this video, you'll learn to make what I call my Center Easel Card featuring the You're a Peach Suite. I think you're going to love it, and with my video demonstration and cutting and scoring dimensions, I make it easy for you to make it too. So watch, then gather your supplies and make a Center Easel Card yourself. Don't forget to share with me as I love to see what you all create. We can be inspired by each other. And most of all, don't forget to SEND your handmade card to bring a little sunshine and cheer to someone else. You'll be so glad you did and so will they!
Cutting & Scoring Dimensions:
- Card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on long side. With card in horizontal position, cut 1" from each side of card front from bottom up to score line. Fold flaps back. On center piece, score at 2 1/8". ***This is easier to understand if you watch video first.
- DSP for side panels = 4 1/8" x 7/8"
- DSP for top and bottom of Center Easel = 3 3/8" x 2"
- DSP for inside bottom = 5 3/8" x 1/2"
Sponge Daubers make it easy to blend Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral inks to make my peaches look real. (This technique is part of my video demonstration above.)
