Beauty of the Earth Fun Fold

I can't get enough of making Fun Fold Cards. So much so that I committed to "Fun Fold Friday Facebook Lives". This is one of my favorite. So often, people are intimidated by Fun Fold Cards. I can understand when it comes to ones with multiple folds in one cards. BUT, let me tell you, MOST Fun Fold Cards are much easier to make than you think. That's why I love them, and that's why I love sharing them with all my Stampin' Peace followers!

The Fun Fold Card I show in this video demonstration features the incredible Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. This beautiful DSP can be used year round and for so many different reasons and occasions for sending your handmade cards. 

FYI…There is no imperfection on my leaves stamp. I discovered that there was a tiny air bubble between my stamp and the clear block. So I pulled my stamp off the clear acrylic block and reset it. All good stamping after that. A great little tidbit to remember.

Cutting Dimensions:

• Night of Navy Card Base = 5 1/2" x 7", score at 4 1/4" on LONG side, fold so flap is on front left.
• Basic White for inside card = 5 1/4" x 4"
• Night of Navy = 3 3/4" x 3", score at 1/2" on SHORT side. 
• Beauty of the Earth DSP or white card stock for stamping = 3 1/2" x 2 3/8"

I used Cajun Craze Dark Stampin' Blends marker to color the white twine to better compliment my card.

A Blending Brush was used to add a subtle sky behind the tree.

The Tailor Made Tag Dies work wonderfully for creating a means of a closure for this fun fold card.
