My mom. The person who always reminded me that I AM A SURVIVOR!
Andrea and Emily – the ones who call me MOM and my 2 greatest blessings.
Mother's Day. This is one of those days, I so often find myself reflecting on my life. My life with my mom. My life with friends and relatives who helped me become the person and the mom I am today. My life with my daughters past, present, and future. I don't always have things "figured out", but one thing I know for sure. I believe that we all want to do the best we can and be the best we can be. We may not always get it right, but with love in our hearts, we continue to learn and grow in the love and admiration we have for one another, and in doing so, we make a difference.
Mother's Day can be a day of joy and celebration and gratitude. But for many, it can be a hard day. I hope that we as women will love and support and nurture each other in whatever "mom role" we play. Whether we have children, step-children, children born in our hearts, nieces, nephews, or fur babies, let's celebrate each other. Whether our moms are physically present with us or have gone on to Heaven and continue to live in our hearts, let's be there for each other as we remember how our moms helped shape us. As women, let's lift each other up and celebrate each other, not just on Mother's Day but everyday. For we women have the power to make this world and the lives of others beautiful. I truly believe this.
Happy Mother's Day!
My girls always know how to make me special. These are a few highlights from my Mother's Day Weekend with Emily and Andrea and Jon. My heart is happy and full when I am with these three.
Gifts from Emily. Andrea and Jon have us hooked on EXIT games. If you haven't tried them, you should. A fun group activity.
Jon and Andrea made sweet and sour chicken for us.
The grand dogs needed some love too, but they're not good at posing for pictures.
Cards and notes and a gift of a girls' day with Andrea.
Pretty tulips from Andrea and Jon.
BEST GIFT OF ALL…time together!
Thank you Mary for sharing this beautiful Mother’s Day story. 💗👑🌷
My mother was my hero, friend and confidant. Even though she has left us for her heavenly home, I love her still and my heart is happy recalling fond memories of my precious days with her. 👒💕👑
🌺Blessings to you and yours.

Happy Mother’s Day Mary! Your girls did a great job showing their love. Hope dinner tasted as good as it looked. You look a lot like your mom.
You’re welcome, Joyce. My Mom has been gone 4 1/2 years and my dad 30. I think about them both everyday.
Thanks, Donna. Hope you had a good Mother’s Day also. And yes, the meal tasted wonderful. My girls are great at showing me love.
