In today's post I have a video replay of a recent Facebook Live in which I demonstrate an easy-to-make Fun Fold Card and show you how to create shamrocks with the Heart Punch Pack. The Old Olive with metallic gold paper is from the Ornate garden Suite and makes these St. Patrick's Day cards elegant. And whether you're Irish or not, these cards are a nice way to express love and gratitude to those we are so lucky to know.
Cutting Dimensions to get 2 cards from 1 piece of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock:
- With card stock in landscape/horizontal position, cut in half at 5 1/2" on long side.
- Cut one of the half sheets in half again by cutting at 4 1/4" on long side. You now have 2 bases measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
- Cut the second half sheet of card stock and cut in half by cutting at 2 3/4" on short side. Score at 4 1/4" on long side and fold in half. You now have 2 mini cards.
- Gold layer on front flap = 2 1/2" x 4"
- DSP layer on front flap = 2 3/8" x 3 7/8"
- Gold layer for inside of card = 5 1/4" x 4"
- Basic White card stock for inside of card = 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
These fun fold cards are so easy to make and definitely pack a "wow" factor.
The 4-leaf clover stamp and sentiment are both part of the Oval Occasions Stamp Set.
