I’m slimming down!

I'm slimming down – well, not physically. I wish I were slimming down, though, as that is definitely something I need to work on. BUT, I have given making slimline cards a try. In my August 24th Facebook Live, I demonstrated making a slimline card with the fabulous Freezin' Fun Bundle from our 2020 Holiday Catalog. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. It works great with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper also. Enjoy the video and then make and share a few slimline cards of your own. 

FYI..Slimline cards can be mailed in standard business envelopes. 

These 2 slimline cards are just 2 of the many cards I have enjoyed making with the Freezin' Fun Bundle.

Don't let the coloring make you shy away from purchasing this awesome stamp set. The animals and trees require minimal coloring. Plus Stampin' Up! has so many great coloring tools to choose from. I colored the images with my Stampin' Blends, but Stampin' Write Markers, Watercolor Pencils, and Blender Pens with ink pad are great choices too.

The Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon from our Annual Catalog is a nice compliment to the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper I used on my Freezin' Fun slimline cards. It's light and delicate so doesn't take away from all the details in the stamped & colored images or the Snowflake Splendor paper. Plus, because it's so fine, it's very easy to tie a bow with.

Don't forget to wow others by dressing up the inside of your cards as I did by adding a bit of ribbon and stamped sentiment and snowflakes. 

Slimline Card Dimensions:

• Card base is 7" x 8 1/2", fold at 3 1/2" on short side, fold in half. Slim card closed measures 3 1/2" x 8 /12".
• Card stock layer is 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" for both inside and outside of card.
• DSP on front & Whisper White on inside are both 3" x 8".
• Use standard business envelope for mailing.
