A 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder, the darling Playful Pets, Designer Series Paper, a few punches, embellishments, and a classic red, black, and white color combination make for three awesome cards sure to delight any and all dog lovers. I the following video replay of my July 20th Make It With Mary Monday Facebook Live, I demonstrate how to cut your 6" x 6" DSP and how to make 3 cute cards.
Please note: The July 20th Facebook Live was interrupted not once, but twice while in progress. The first time I was able to restart the Live, so you'll notice where I've added the 2nd Live to the first. The second time the Live was interrupted I was nearly finished with my demonstrations so did not restart again. You'll see the video just ends without a usual goodbye, however, you can see photos of all completed cards as you scroll through this post.
This is what the Designer Series Paper looks like when cut to my specifications in the video above. All of it is used in the 3 cards I made except for the 1/2" x 2" piece which I turned over to show you in the photo below.
These are the three cards I created from the pieces cut from my 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder. Aren't they cute?
This happy pup is the focal point of my card below. I punched it with a 2" Circle Punch from a different sheet from the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper pack. I then mounted it onto a 2 1/4" Basic Black Circle. The little heart is part of the Dog Builder Punch. I makes a nice embellishment when popped up with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional.
Awwww…this second pup reminds me of the family dog we used to have, Rosie. I like the use of Red Rhinestones on each end of the striped label I punched with the Lovely Label Pick A Punch.
"And they call it puppy love." Remember that Donny Osmond song??? The dogs and hearts were all punched with the Dog Builder Punch. That gorgeous Real Red Sheer Ribbon is in our 2020 Holiday Catalog which goes live on August 4th.
Such cute cards, don't you think? Which is your favorite?
