Who would have thought that you could cut up a beautiful stamped image only to make it into a totally different card. Check out the card sketch I used in my July 13th Make It with Mary Monday Facebook Live. This one is so easy and fun, that it will have you asking yourself, "Why didn't I think of that?" Get all the details in in the video demonstration below.
I chose to color the Ornate Style flowers with Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils in Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive.
I stamped this sentiment of gratitude from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set on the inside of my card.
I have a feeling the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set in the 2020 Holiday Catalog (going live August 4th) is going to be very popular. Its images and sentiments are beautiful and classic.
The Beaded Pearl embellishments are absolutely gorgeous and add such a pretty touch to the centers of your stamped and die cut poinsettias.
I added a layer of Gold Foil to both the outside and inside of this card to add to the classic holiday theme and color scheme.
The Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper is featured in the card below along with the same card layout being used in a horizontal/landscape position.
I would not have thought of using the Bumblebee color in a traditional poinsettia card. Bumblebee is one of the featured colors in the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. It really works with the other colors in the paper.
I layered Whisper White onto Bumblebee card stock on the inside of this card.
