This week's Make It with Mary Monday Facebook Live in my Stampin' Peace VIP Group was so much fun. I love the card sketch I chose and the colorful and spring-like Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper. This DSP is GORGEOUS! It is retiring, so you'll want to get it now before it's gone. AND, it is now being sold at the discounted price of just $10.15.
Here's the Card Sketch I used and below that is my video demonstration of several cards I created with this layout and the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP.
The butterfly was fussy cut from the Mosaic Mood DSP. The bumblebees were punched from the same piece of DSP with the 1/2" Circle Punch.
The Flower Faceted Gems are a beautiful choice of embellishment for this card. These gems are retiring so get them now while supplies last.
I stamped this sentiment twice, first in So Saffron ink on 2" x 3" Very Vanilla card stock layer. I then stamped it in Terracotta Tile ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla. I then cut out just the word 'Kindness' and adhered it over the same word in the So Saffron sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.
An easy variation to any card sketch is to simply change the orientation of the card from portrait/vertical position to landscape/horizontal position or vice versa. I cut 2 hummingbirds from this beautiful Designer Series Paper, one for my card front and one to dress up the inside of my card.
For another variation on this card sketch, cut a 4" x 5" piece of Designer Series Paper. Then cut this into five 1" x 4" strips. Adhere the strips to your card front in the same order they were cut.
I love chic look this Scalloped Lace Trim adds to these two cards.
