What trying times we are living through now. So much of what we knew as "normal" is no more. We are finding new ways to conduct everyday life, business, education, shopping, and more. So many are experiencing stress, anxiety, and loneliness. As stampers, crafters, and card makers we have the opportunity to bring encouragement, comfort, and joy to others…those we know and are close to, those we haven't communicated with in a long time, and even strangers. "We are all in this together." is a phrase we are hearing repeatedly in these days. Let's add to that "Together we make a difference". Let's come together to spread kindness and caring with our handmade cards and notes. Let's spread sunshine, hope, and peace. I'm challenging all of you to reach out to at least 3 people this week that you think could use a little support and love. It could be through a phone call, a gift of hand baked goodies, yard help, or my favorite – a hand stamped card with a personal note.
I recently sent out this card to all of my Merry Stampers Team. We are all looking for new ways to stay connected with our teams and customers, to keep our teams and customers stamping, and to do business when we are unable to gather in person. I sent this card to team members to brighten their days and to remind them that they can and do make a positive difference in this crazy world as stampers, crafters, and Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I'm confident that we can all weather this storm together and will come out stronger and having learned lots during this pandemic.
My card features the Artfully Aware Stamp Set, Watercolor Pencils, Subtle Embossing Folder, and card stock in Basic Black and Crumb Cake.
