Last month for Valentine's Day, I received a box of Sugarfina Candy. If you aren't familiar with Sugarfina, it is "the ultimate candy store for grown-ups offering the world-famous Champagne Bears®, Rosé wine-infused gummy bears, and more cocktail-inspired candies". The candies are packed in a bright blue sturdy gift box and boy, were they yummy. When the candies were gone, I just couldn't throw the pretty box away as it would make a great gift box. This week, I decided to change the look of it and decorate it Stampin' Up! style.
I used Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to decorate the box top and bottom of the inside of the box and to make a belly band. I then stamped and die cut a lily pad using the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set and coordinating Lily Pad Dies (both Sale-A-Bration freebies) and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper.
I love the new look of my Sugarfina box. Now, I have a beautifully decorated gift box ready when I need it.
I also decorated a Stampin' Up! Kraft Pillow Box with the Lily Pad products. These Kraft Pillow Boxes are easy and fun to decorate and ideal for giving gift cards. I like using a removable belly band to decorate the pillow boxes even though it is not necessary to keep it closed. This way the belly band can be removed and a new decoration made to use the pillow box for a new occasion.

I'm guessing that many of you are cleaning out pantries, closets, and basements as we try to stay safe and healthy by staying home during these difficult days. Perhaps, you'll find some boxes and bags that you can your own bit of creativity to and make them new again. It's always nice to have a few gift boxes and bags on hand decorated and ready to go when you need them!
