The images in the following photos remind me of my daughters when they were young. Emily was 5 years younger than Andrea and would look up to Andrea in so many ways. And Andrea loved being a big sister. The card on my left was my first attempt at the No Line Watercoloring Technique with the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. The card on my right was my second attempt. Everything gets better with practice.
These dresses were watercolored with Highland Heather, the flowers with Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam, the sand with Sahara Sand, and the sky with Pool Party. Hair was colored with Soft Suede. I used Petal Pink ink for the skin tone.
I switched out the Pool Party ink for Seaside Spray ink for the sky in the next two cards. The next card shows my third attempt at No Line Watercoloring but with a different image from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. I love the brighter hues of this card – Melon Mambo & Mango Melody for the little girls' dresses and bright Highland Heather flowers. Aren't these beach combers darling with their pretty dresses and pails ready to fill with sea shells?
My last and favorite card using another image from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set with the No Line Watercoloring Technique. Poppy Parade is the dress color. Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam were used for the flowers.
