Welcome Easter Flap Cards

Are you ready to welcome Spring? I sure am! Stampin' Up! makes it easy and exciting for us to welcome spring, Easter, and new babies with the Welcome Easter Stamp Set. The little chick, lamb, and bunny images are adorable and the sentiments are perfect for Easter and all things baby – baby showers, new babies. I think this set is also appropriate for baby's 1st birthday. In the Facebook Live Video Replay below, I'll show you how to make my Welcome Easter Flap Card in spring colors with some fun patterns in our Designer Series Paper. And I'll show you a few easy ways you can "step up" these cards!

Let me show you how to make these cute Flap Cards featuring the Welcome Easter Stamp Set. 

Here's a look at the inside of the Flap Card. Still enough room to write a short message and have it hidden by the DSP flap.

I "stepped up" my sample cards from above to make these three cards below. In my video demonstration, I talk about the three ways I stepped up these cards to create more interest.

Two ways I stepped up my cards can be seen in the 3 photos below. First, I adhered Silver Metallic Thread between the circle layers. (My video shows you how to do this quickly and easily.) Secondl, I stamped and colored the heads of each of the spring baby animals then fussy cut them out and adhered them to the stamped, colored, and punched circles already on my card fronts.

Stamping and  coloring flowers, leaves, and a cute little bumble bee on opposite corners of the Whisper White card stock is a third way I stepped up my original cards.
