Positives & Negatives

So often we punch a shape from a scrap of card stock or Designer Series Paper and toss the left over. In this video, I demonstrate how with a little thought and planning, you can punch shapes in a way that will allow you to use the negative spaces left behind to make a second card equally as nice as the one made with the punched pieces. I've featured the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and Pine Tree Punch with Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper. Take a look at my positive and negative cards in my FB Live video below. I'm positive you are going to want to put some of your punches to work using this technique.

Since I was enjoying this technique so much, I decided to apply it to decorating our Gold Mini Pizza Boxes!

I used the 2 pine trees I punched from the card stock and DSP circles on the top box to decorate the bottom two boxes.
