Saturday, August 18, 2018, was my 10th Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Joining Stampin' Up! 10 years ago was one of the best decisions of my life. I joined simply to purchase great products at a discount. I anticipated I'd do this for a while, get a good collection of stamps and supplies, drop, and then craft on my own. I had absolutely no intention of making a "business" of my hobby. I was stamping and creating and not growing tired of it in the least. I just wanted to keep doing more of this wonderful stamping hobby of mine. I was my Emily, 11 year olds at the time, who walked into my craft room one day to see what I was doing, and said, "If you're going to keep making stuff, Mom, you should sell it." And that, is how it began. It wasn't fast or dramatic. It was simply baby steps of me stamping and sharing and inviting others to stamp and create with me. Now, all these years later, I have countless friends, tremendous gratitude for the many opportunities SU! has afforded me, and lots of wonderful memories of SU! events and incentive trips and the people who shared these events with me. My heart is full of joy, but there is room for many more years of SU! love. I'm excited to see what the next 10 years bring me as I continue to love what I do and share what I love and make a difference in the lives of others by doing so.
