Sunshine & Rainbows

Today, I’m featuring a card created by my friend Jackie Mayer. Jackie was a loooooong time customer and stamp club member and is now on my Stampin’ Up! team. Take a look at this sunny card Jackie created for me. I love it. I have to be honest and say I thought this stamp set and framelit bundle was cute, but wasn’t at the top of my “must have” list. Jackie may changed my mind about that with this card!

As I sat down to write this post, the sun has come up and is now shining brightly in a beautiful blue sky! It’s going to be a bright, sunny weekend here in southern Ohio after many rainy, gloomy days. Today, feels like the perfect time to share this card. Thanks, Jackie, for gifting me this card. By the way, another shout out to Jackie who can makes me see the bright side of things and make my own sunshine when life looks gloomy. Your friendship is a blessing to me.

Notice how the rainbow is both in front of and behind the layers of clouds. Jackie also added some shimmer to the clouds with Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

I love the stitched detail on the oval and Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon used as an embellishment behind the sentiment.
