Birthday Wishes for You!

Birthday Wishes for You Stamp Set + Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper = 1 fantastic birthday card. If you love bright colors and fun party patterns, the Picture Perfect Party 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is for you! It is paired with the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalog (pg. 5). I, however, decided to pair it with the Birthday Wishes for You Stamp Set on page 3 of the Occasions Catalog. I think this birthday card is fabulous and fun! Of course, the Lemon Lime Twist card stock is a great base color and really stands out against the black card stock.

Dimensions:  Basic Black card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ with 5 1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White on the inside for writing on. Lemon Lime Twist card stock is 5 1/4″ x 4″ with 5 1/4″ x 1″ strip of Picture Perfect Party DSP. Almost all of the prints in this DSP would work well here. The Whisper White card stock for stamping on is 3″ x 4 1/4″ and layered on top of 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ Basic Black card stock after stamping.  

Tips:  Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink. Fill in ‘Birthday’ using Pool Party Ink Refill and a Blender Pen. Adhere to center of card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp ‘HAPPY’ by inking up just that portion of the stamp and stamp on Berry Burst card stock scrap. Fussy cut with Paper Snips and attach to card front (over original stamping) with Glue Dots. Stamp ‘with many wishes just for you’ in Basic Black Ink on Lemon Lime Twist card stock. Fussy cut with Paper Snips and adhere to card front with Glue Dots. Embellish with Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
