The Be Merry Designer Series Paper has been a favorite with its traditional colors. I've used it several times in classes and have sold lots and lots.

Here are a couple gift card holders I created with the BE MERRY DSP and look forward to giving this holiday season. I like to give gift cards in a pretty handmade holders for people who provide services for me like my postal carrier and, of course, my UPS drivers who deliver all my Stampin' Up! packages. I've included cutting dimensions for you. I also have a gift bag I decorated with the Be Merry DSP with its dimensions for you. 

To make gift card holder, cut card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 2" and 5 1/2". The 2" score creates the flap that becomes the pocket for your gift card.

Cut DSP 4" x 1 3/4". Punch half circle in it using 1 1/4" Circle Punch. Adhere to small flap.  Punch half circle in card stock by matching up 1 3/4" Circle Punch with half circle already cut in DSP. Apply strong adhesive to top and bottom edge only of small flap and secure to inside of card forming pocket.

Card stock in inside of card base is 4" x 5 1/4"

DSP on front of gift card holder is 3 1/4" x 4".

Card stock to stamp sentiment on is 3 1/4" x 1/2".  

Card stock to mount stamped message on is 3 1/4" x 5/8".

**I used the coordinating Merry Mistletoe stamp set on the first gift card. Ready for Christmas and Sant's Sleigh stamp sets were used on the second gift card.

The gift bag above measures 8 1/4" x 10 1/4". You will want to measure your bag and cut your paper accordingly as size of bags can vary from one brand or store to another.

Designer Series Paper is 3" x 8 1/4" and is layered on card stock measuring 3 1/4" x 8 1/4". The Christmas Tree was cut from the retired Perfect Pennants Bigz Die with a 3/4" x 1 1/4" rectangle for a trunk.
